Corrigan Sports Enterprises- Elkridge, MD; April 5, 2021

Corrigan Sports Enterprises has announced the creation of the Gait Lacrosse, Lonestar Elite event. CSE’s goal is to identify the top female athletes from graduation years 2022-2025. Players will have the chance to represent their city in the premier inner-state lacrosse event of the year.

Each region will have a unique committee of evaluators who will determine the top talent in the following major Texas markets:
• Houston
• Dallas
• Austin

Each regional committee will be compiled with a private school coach, public school coach and an area College/University representative. Our hope is to eliminate any form of bias to ensure we select the absolute top 23 players in each city, for each graduation year.

Round Rock’s Multipurpose complex will serve as the host location for the inaugural event. All players will receive a jersey set, compliments of Corrigan Sports. Players will also receive a unique gear package from Gait Lacrosse. Both are to be released on social media in the coming weeks.

The Nomination Process: It is 100% free to nominate athletes for the Lonestar Elite. We’re asking all club coaches/organizers, high school coaches, and college evaluators to nominate their players for the event. Once the nomination window has closed, regional evaluators will meet and select their 23 player rosters.

As always, Corrigan Sports is committed to providing families and college coaches a premier event experience. CSE has partnered with NCSA/BeTheBeast to provide game film and an unparalleled digital recruiting experience for players and college coaches. All games will be available to view online. Championship games will be available to watch free of charge on the event website.
